Max Whats New PROMOS | Transition Visual Device
The What’s New promos are a core component of how HBOMax showcases upcoming titles. For this iteration, the brief called for a more graphic-led approach that ensured a seamless transition between various shows and films.
I developed a visual device inspired by "unfolding panels"; as a segment concludes, a series of panels unfold to transport the viewer into the next title.
My explorations also included a circular motion language inspired by the dot in the "a" of the brand logo, ensuring every transition felt rooted in the brand’s DNA.
